In a secret space among the dusty books and old stuff, me and my ‘friend’ loved to play.

Hide-and-seeks, make-believes, board games, or just story reading times.

She’s fun, she’s a great story teller, with her everything was possible.

We escaped to a different universe everytime.

We were astronouts, vagabonds, pirates, ghosts, princesses, detectives, or even thiefs.

Everything was nothing less than wonder and awe!

Summer Within


Intended as my 2nd entry for Huion Blue Challenge, but I was late apparently.. and I didn’t end up being the winner by my first entry either. Well, so I’m just making this my cyan / summer-themed project series.

Rest your mind and spirit, melt yourself into the warm ocean. Summer is here, summer is within. May this art calm your inner shore.

Finally a new art!

Here's my 1st entry for Huion Blue Challenge. I thought the mandatory cyan color #00bfd7 relates strongly with water and sky, so here is one of my 12 ideas, a kitty happily floating on the pleasantly blue ocean under the blue sky. I know this time is mostly spring in certain parts of the world, but I guess the bright sea & sky is mostly related to summer, thus the title.

Hope I can submit up to 3 entries, but if not, I’ll just make this whole cyan series my personal project.. if I have the time to paint them all!

Soul Portrait #1 Trickster Pirate



'Coz pirate captains must always have tricks up their sleeves..

Was created for the #ThumbHub Tri Color Contest!

Colors used: dark red, dark green, yellow-orange-ish.

For this piece I was using a lot of stocks and edited them using Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop - because apparently I'm still yet adapting to the drawing tablet, my hands were still shaking.. Done in only 4-5 hours, that's quick for my standard (on digital works)!

Book Cover Challenge #1

 


Was an entry for Book Cover Challenge by CathleenTarawhiti


I was supposed to create the file in 6" x 9" or 3921 x 2775 px size but when I use the pixel measurement it ended up very large in inch so I turned to inch measurement - but later it turned out low resolution in pixel! I think it's fixable though, later if I win or the cover is sold I can make it again from scratch with proper resolution.

I hope no one minds me putting a publisher's logo - no copyright violation intended, this is just a mock up.
